In the world of Performance Mods, the airbox is one of the important engine components that you should consider upgrading. The factory airbox is very restrictive in terms of airflow and filtration surface area.
Our cold air intakes are designed and engineered to overcome this factory-designed limitation and provide maximum airflow with the lowest temperatures possible considering space constraints.
This BlackBoost cold air intake is designed to seal against the airbox cover, ensuring a consistent seal throughout with gaskets in rubber that follow the airbox and at the same time guaranteeing a large surface area for our 5.5 inch Twin Flow conical filters to work properly.
This intake is equipped with a silicone tube of high quality 4.5 inch paired with our designed velocity stack for maximum airflow to the motor. BlackBoost Dual Flow Filters are specially crafted for maximum airflow and surface area. With a diameter of 5.5 inches and a height of 8 inches. These dry filters provide the best flow and protection.
The airboxes are laser cut AL panels with high complexity CNC bends assembled with stainless steel fasteners, finished with a layer of powder coating high quality black.
The BlackBoost Intake Kit is a Plug and Play solution, it works perfectly on its own without any other modifications and no additional software tuning is required.
Also works great with Turbo upgrades, downpipes, methanol injection and more to provide the airflow needed to unleash the full capability of the machine for those aiming for 450+ WHP ratings.
